Newborn babies don't stay little for very long, the older they get the more awake time they have.

So for Newborn sessions it's best if your baby is between 5-14 days old at the time of their session, this means we are able to get more of those really sleepy and curly poses.

I like to capture all those tiny detail shots as well, those tiny teeny toes and fingers. They are a great way to capture how little they really were.

Family and Sibling photos are included in any newborn session ( except newborn mini's ) I am introducing a new set-up for parent and family posing for newborn sessions, more of a lifestyle type look, stay tuned for those to be released.

All props and wraps and fabrics ( for posing bag shots ) are supplied at your newborn session with Life's Magical Moments Photography.

Everything that is used and touched at your newborn session is washed that same day, so everything your baby is wrapped in or place on is washed and everything that can't be washed gets cleaned down in disinfectant.

Straight after your Newborn session, you will get to see your images on the big screen. So you can sit back and relax with a coffee/tea/cold drink and We will go through your images together for you to select which images you would like to purchase with your package.

If you pick more images then your packages has then thats ok, you can either purchase them as extra's or upgrade your package. This usually only takes about 20-30mins.

As we go through your images on the big screen, this is the time to order any wall art or products as well.

But if you go home and think you would really that a certain image in a canvas or wood mount print etc then you can always contact me and we will make that happen ;) I store images for about 6months. so theres plenty of time to order products. :)

The top 2020 baby names have been released, did your baby's name make the list? Keep reading to find out. :)

Every year they release the top 10 baby names for both boys and girls, the last few years Charlotte and Oliver has been at the top of the lists, did they make it again this year????

How do you choose your baby's name? It's a big deal, its' something that they have to carry for the rest of their lives and it's something that you have to say everyday.... multiple times a day! So do you just pick a random name....a family name....from the top 10 or 50... or do you go a unique name.... It's not an easy task tho... because both parents have to agree, and then when you have your baby, looking at them for the very first time, you think, is this name you? is it going to suit you? Are you going to like your name? have I chosen a great name? and these are just some of the questions that run through your head.

As a newborn photographer I do hear alot of names, some are on the top 10 and some are not.

So... let's find out if your baby's name made the top 10..

Gee how did I know Charlotte & Oliver would be on it again hehe They are beautiful names tho. and I must admit if I was to have a girl Charlotte is on the top of my list ;)

How good are these rainy days? It's a wonderful change to the heatwave we just had that's for sure, and the temperature is such a welcomed change as well. But there's one thing with these rainy days.... it's school holidays now... and the kiddies are getting bored. So here is a few ideas to help keep them entertained..

1- Bored Games! Dig them out and let the kiddies pick 1 or 2 and you the parents pick 1, you's will have a few laughs, some family time and it will amuse everyone for an hour or so.

2- Get creative and grab out the pensils, texters etc, and see who can draw the best picture or funniest picture and whoever wins gets to pick the next task or gets a treat or even gets the night off from clean up duty ;)

3- Indoor Treasure Hunt- Hide items around the house for the kiddies to find even create a treasure map in your keen ;)

4- Movie Time- Now I know this can be easier said then done, everyone fights over who gets the pick the movie, to fix that.... get everyone to write ONE movie they want to watch on a piece of paper and put it in a hat then mum or dad closes their eyes and pulls one out... there you have it a fair and easy way to choose a movie... oh don't forget the popcorn! :) :)

5- Indoor bowling- Most of us have a few bottles stashed away for the recycling , or have a few empty ones with all the kiddes home, so use them as bowling pins, set them up at the end of the hallway and use a tennis ball or a soft ball as your bowling ball and bingo... you have indoor bowling :)

If you have done these and still need more idea's here is a link for ideas to do around Brissy that will get everyone out of the house for abit but don't forget your umbrella .... I think this weather is here to stay for a little bit longer ;)
