Boudoir Sessions
Boudoir Sessions are a nice gift for your partner/husband to be on your wedding night, or even just for yourself. My clients love these sessions to help bring back their confidence. Boudie sessions are also about empowering woman. There are many different reason's why ladies do a boudie session, a realationship break up, weight loss, or just because you can! Every woman who has done a boudoir session loves the session, loves the confidence they got from doing one, partner loves the images as much as they do. Some ladies even do a boudie session every year.
Boudoir Photography is something different not your everyday type photography, you get to dress up and even do a little role play. Its a fun shoot, there are no rules of what you should or shouldn't do, just a whole lot of fun. If you feel comfy and want semi nude or nude images that's something we can do as well. But you don't have to bare all to do Boudoir, Lingerie and posing is the key!
I only have a small client wardrobe at the moment but I am adding to it every chance I get. So I do ask if you could bring at least 2 of your favourite outfits for your session then you can take a look at the client wardrobe on the day and see what is in there that you would like to wear.
When to Book your Boudoir Session?
The short answer is anytime of the year. We offer boudoir sessions mostly on week days, but we do have availablity for 1-2 weekends per month. Weekend sessions need to be booked at least 1 month in advance. Summer time isn't the ideal time of the year for boudior as if you get your make-up done before you arrive at the studio you may just loose half on it before you arrive, becuase our summer's do get very warm, the best time to book your boudoir session is once the weather starts to cool down that bit ;)
Your Session
Your session for the Hello Gorgeous Collection you will have the bedroom set up and the Sweet Seduction Collection will be the bedroom set-up along with the normal studio set up like the famous red chair, backdrop set up's & shower set-up. If you are wanting semi nude or nude images, we don't start with them, we work our way into them, your comfort level is what matter's most. You don't have to bare all to do a boudie shoot, same ladies want to bare all, some only a little and some don't at all. Whichever you are comfortable with is totally fine.
Once your Boudoir session has been secured, I will send you your session information to help you prepare for the session. You will receive a questionnaire, this helps me customize your session for you. Then we will talk about idea's that your wanting, your comfort level and outfits. OH and shoes....
Sessions take place on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, & some weekends. ( these are limited tho ) If you do require a different day please get it touch as soon as possbile :)
Viewing & Selecting Your Images

You will receive a proofing gallery link for you to go through the images and choose which images you wish to purchase for your collection. If you would like or thinking about purchasing any products or wall art I can show you the studio samples at your session.
Most Boudoir images aren't intended for the walls, but there are lots of ways to display your images without being on your walls. And I have all them in the studio so I can show you.
After Your Session
Once all payments have been received I will start the editing process on your choosen images. A 'sneak peek' will be on my Facebook group usually withing 48hrs for you to see. ( Your welcome to share the post )
The editing process usually takes between up to 4 weeks from once i receive your chosen images. Then I will email you your gallery link & password for you to download your images to your computer or hard drive. I will then place any prints & product orders, and contact you when then are ready for collection from the studio, this usually takes a further 2-3 weeks. Printing times vary, it depends on which products are ordered.
If you do go home and decide you do want extra products or prints, just shoot me a message and we can arrange that for you.

Tips for preparing for your Boudoir Session
Here are some tips to help you prepare for your Boudoir Session.
- Wear loose clothing on the day, this will help avoid marks on your skin, and help with keeping your hair and make-up right.
-If you like to wax, we recommend waxing a couple of days before your session to avoid redness or irritation. Do Touch Up the Basics
If you dye your hair, get your hair done the week of your Boudoir Session. If you Shave then shave everything, the day of if possible, and even get a mani-pedi a day or two before your session. You’d be amazed how these little details can make or break a photo session. These pictures are going to be around for a while, reminding you of just how awesome you look, don’t forget the small stuff.
-If possible try stay out of the sun to avoid tan lines and sunburns.
-For most people, we do NOT recommend getting a spray tan. Your natural skin tone will usually look better on camera than a spray tan.
- Shoes... bring them a girl can never have too many shoes! but...please clean the soles of your shoes - the bottoms of your shoes will show in many of your images & take off any stickers/tags.
- Lingerie, please bring at least 1-2 outfits you love, and if you have 5 you love....bring them too! Our client wardrobe is small your are welcome to use anything from the client wardrobe as well as your own. We may not use it all, but it never hurts to have options.
-Props, if you have any...bring them! Jewelry, makes a great addition to any boudoir session.
This is your session and it's all about you!
-Do Book your Appointment Date after Your Monthlies
Nobody wants to ruin a potentially empowering Boudoir session because they’re crabby, cramping, and bloated, Instead, book the week after your period when you’re high energy and feeling normal again.
-Be sure to moisturize once-twice a day for the week leading up to your shoot.
-Make a playlist!
Music will really help you get into the super model zone!! Try to select music that matches the concept of your shoot. We have a bluetooth speaker at the studio to stream your tunes if you bring them! We also have a pretty kickass set of photo shoot playlists that tend to jive well with most people.
-Get lots of sleep the night before your session — beauty rest is a real thing!
-Remember to relax, your session is going to be fun!
