I have had this is the works for a little bit... just had to wait for a couple of babies to be born so I could photograph them and show everyone.....

Lifestyle Newborn sessions are different to my posed Newborn sessions. Posed is all about the different poses with the posing bag, and all the props and parents and siblings of course, but Lifestyle sessions are just that... lifestyle... I capture that bond with you and your baby, partner and baby and siblings too. You will have lots of snuggles and kisses with your new baby. These are all done on the bed, and the cocoon chair and also using that big window of mine standing in front of it too. There is no naked baby photos, baby will be wrapped the whole time unless he/she is wearing one of my newborn outfits. I will aim to also do solo shots of baby too if baby is sleeping I will have them wrapped and propped up on the pillows on the bed and maybe add in 1 prop if that is something your after :)

I love to also add in parents hands and do a nice close up of bubs with parent hands around bubs too. ( as pic above shows )

I still aim to get those detail shots of your baby, ten tiny toes, their little ears and there hands too.

And sibling photos too of course. like in the pic above big brother was not a big fan of doing photos on the bed with his new baby brother so we tried the cocoon chair and woohooo we got some hehe.

The best time for a Lifestyle Newborn session is still when bubs is between 5-14 days old, but if your baby is abit older and you still want to capture those newborn photos lifestyle is the best for that, because it doesn't matter if bubs is awake or asleep we can still get those amazing shots, and well who doesn't like some awake shots of their baby.. look at those beautiful eyes on Miss Mylie in the pic above...
Because Lifestyle is different to posed they have their own packages as well. the Hello Baby Collection and the Bundle of Joy Collection. Prices start at $495
If you would like a Lifestyle session with me reach out as soon as possible as I only take on a limited amount of baby sessions per month as it allows time for all the beautiful babies to arrive as we all know they hardly arrive on their due dates hehe
There's a new set-up now available ... the shower set up.... and OMG ... it is so much fun to do... you can wear a singlet top or your fav lingerie set and the best part... we can do this all year round because you don't actually get wet! the set itself does but you don't... during the warmer months we can spray you with the water bottle too to add more of an effect. but this set looks awesome with the brick wall backdrop behind it too makes it abit rustic. I am waiting for another backdrop to arrive as well which can be used for the shower set too stay tuned for those pics :)
Here's a couple of the images so far from the new set up.

Meet the Podolak Family, Michael, Krisy, Poppy, Leo and Autumn.
Just before lockdown hit us, we headed off to this amazing location for family photos. These guys were alot of fun, full of smiles, silly faces and lots and lots and lots of running through the long grass. The kiddies had a ball.

Mum and Dad watched on as the kiddies had some fun with photo's of silly faces. Kids love to do these types of photos, I do hear 'oh my children wouldn't behave for family photos', but when it's made to be fun you will find they will and they will enjoy it. Family Sessions are all about the fun. And as you can see Michael and Krisy were having giggles at the 3 beautiful children.

I do bring a blanket along to your session, because lets face it if mum is wearing white she won't be a fan of sitting of the ground, so by adding a blanket it is protecting everyone's clothing and adding texture as well.
I do like to do a couple of posed family shots like the image above, but I do love natural shots as well... like families just walking ( like the 1st image in this post ), just letting the kiddies do something they want to do. I tend not to plan too much for family session's, plan for a couple of ideas and then just let everyone be natural and if having a little dance or cuddle is something you want to do then I say go for it!

Just letting the kiddes have fun and run through the long grass not only lets them burn off some energy, it's something fun for them, gives mum and dad a break from being photographed ( except in the photo above hehe ) but it makes for a great photograph.

Don't worry... I don't forget about mum and dad, I make sure a grab some couple photos too, cos let's face it there would be no Podolak Family without Michael & Krisy.

Who doesn't love big cuddles with mum....

...and piggy back rides with dad... dad's always want to do fun stuff with the kiddies.

And of course photographs of just the children. Plus I took photos of each, Poppy, Leo and Autumn.
So that wraps up The Podolak Family session. Keep an eye on my facebook and Instrgram pages for more images of this amazing family from their family session with me.
